Poised, sassy, & soulful are just a few words frequently used to describe one of Perth’s most noteworthy up & coming artists. Her expressive & soul wrenching vocals; influenced by those such as Aretha Franklin, Lauryn Hill & Stevie Wonder, will have you up and dancing whilst at other times feeling deeply & emotionally connected to her music. After studying five years at the prestigious West Australian Academy of Performing Arts, nationally & internationally known for its quality of graduates such as Hugh Jackman & Heath ledger, Claire Fahie has been busy on the Perth scene writing as well as performing the incredible music of her idols.
After growing up listening to blues & soul influences, Claire Fahie’s passion & taste for music has flourished, recently performing multiple sold out ‘Aretha Franklin tribute’ shows at the respected ‘Ellington Jazz Club’. Since 2015 Claire Fahie has self managed and performed in her exhilarating and driving R&B/pop cover band ‘Neapolitan’, indulging in the eclectic music of the 90’s & early 2000’s. Completing their 12th sold out show, including venues such as ‘The Ellington Jazz Club’ & The 2016 Leukemia Foundation Ball, ‘Cancer No Bueno’, resulting in 2500 patrons going wild up on the dance floor.
Claire Fahie also recently performed in front of 27050 patrons; along side fellow WAAPA collegue Scott James, at the 2017 Fremantle vs GC WAFL game.
With a background in dance & music theatre Claire Fahie’s attention grabbing engagement with her audience is extremely important to her. Pledging each audience member an enjoyable and inclusive night of music.
